#Debuting my new icon  #Nikolaj got Jaime down too perfectly in that entire episode where he murders his distant cousin in the cage  #literally acted the part of an overexcited dog that's never been disciplined in its life  #it's actually really interesting to contrast Nikolaj's performance as Jaime in season 1  #because you have Jaime that's spent the past decade in Kings Landing in peacetime  #which just rots at men like him whose blood rises and sings in the midst of battle  #it just emphasized the pompous boy of wealth in him  #but war brings out his best qualities weirdly enough  #his compassion - realism - practicalities - wits  #interesting dude  #anyway  #Game of Thrones  #Lena Headley  #Nikolaj Coster Waldau  #Jaime Lannister  #Cersei Lannister  #Ser Jaime Lannister
